Marsh’s Library is the oldest public Library in Ireland, founded in 1701. It holds a remarkable collection of books and manuscripts relating to medicine, law, travel, science and music, dating back to the fifteenth century. Visiting the Library Marsh’s Library is located just behind St Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin. The Library is a 10 or 15 minute walk from Grafton Street.
