The Odontology Section of RAMI would like to invite all interested students & staff to attend a 40 minute talk and Q&A session on Atraumatic Dental Extraction Techniques, by Dr Junaid Nayyar – Expanded from a recent clinical technique presentation at IADR.

Biography

Dr Junaid Nayyar is a General Dental Practitioner and a Part-Time Clinical Supervisor at Dublin Dental University Hospital. He has experience working as an SHO in a busy Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery unit with on-call in the Ulster Hospital, Belfast & South Eastern HSC Trust. Dr Nayyar will share techniques and approaches to dental extractions, both conventional and contemporaneous with detailed intra-operative clinical photography. This lecture will discuss the rationale and evidence base for atraumatic extraction techniques with pragmatic clinical tips on how dentists can apply these principles in general practice. A must-see lecture for under-graduate dental students.
