RAMI eHealth Section Medical Student Awards 2021
12/08/2021 in Online Conference
For the attention of all Medical Students: closing date has been extended to Thursday 12th August 2021
The Royal Academy of Medicine in Ireland (RAMI) eHealth Section invites you to apply for the RAMI eHealth Section Medical Student Awards 2021.
Please submit your proposal for a research project in eHealth by close of business on Thursday August 12th, 2021. Two proposals will then be selected from those received by that date and the applicants will be notified that they have been successful in their application for an award by August 16th 2021.
Students should describe a brief study on an eHealth topic that they propose to conduct over an 8 week period, mid- August through to early October 2020.
All proposed studies should be ethically sound, with approval already granted if necessary. Examples of such proposals include literature reviews, case studies or observational research. Literature reviews, or observations in a public area do not need any external ethical approval. Other studies should comply with any local regulations.
The successful Medical Students will then be asked to work on their proposed project in the following eight weeks. The work will be submitted by an agreed deadline.
If the work is of a satisfactory standard, both students will be invited to present their work at the Medical Student eHealth Seminar to be held in Autumn 2021.
The prizes, two €100 book tokens, will be awarded at the Medical Student eHealth Seminar. They will be called the RAMI Medical Student eHealth Prizes.
