The Section of Dermatology was established in 1951. As with the other sections this section is governed by a President and council, and hold regular meetings at which members present cases.

The General Council at their meeting on the 4th April, 1991 were shown the “Jacob” medal which the Section of Dermatology had made for their Registrar’s Prize. The Council approved the medal.
